Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD candidate at University of Rome Tor Vergata, where I work under the supervision of Leonardo Becchetti.

I am also a Post-Doc fellow at the University of Turin (ESOMAS Department), where I am working on a project with Andrea Gallice and Edoardo Grillo.

My research interests are heterogeneous and spanning across Applied Economics, Political Economy, Development Economics and Happiness Economics, with a specific focus on the dynamics of political economy during the 'Years of Lead' in Italy.

In my Job Market Paper, I analyze government decision-making during crises, focusing on how the Italian state balanced immediate threats with long-term security goals during the Brigate Rosse era.

I was also one of the co-organizers of the Tor Vergata Ph.D. Conference in Economics and the Ph.D. Mock Forum series at University of Rome Tor Vergata.
