Welcome to my website!

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Turin (ESOMAS Department). I received my PhD in Economics from Tor Vergata University of Rome (DEF).

My research focuses on Applied Microeconomics, Political Economy, and Development Economics, with particular emphasis on the political and economic dynamics in Italy during the 'Years of Lead.'

In my Job Market Paper, using the Aldo Moro kidnapping in Italy as a quasi-experimental setting, I show that hard-line communiqués reallocated policing to sensitive targets and that visible enforcement increased public-order support in the 1978 referendum.
